Several researches conducted by multiple institutions and conferences across the world, like NCBI-US; Australian Weeds Conference, APWSS etc., have concluded that this weed is a major cause of allergic respiratory problems, contact dermatitis, mutagenicity in human and livestock. Also, Crop production is drastically reduced owing to its allelopathy and aggressive dominance thus threatening our biodiversity.
